Meetings are led by one of our volunteer facilitators. A set format is followed each week. Everyone can be heard and listened to if they have something they wish to share in response to the questions asked that week.

YOUR CLUB FACILITATORS
More about Veronica
I am a Facilitator of Women’s Wellbeing Club Stirling. I have been through a long journey in life, and at 51, felt the need that I wanted to give something back to the community. I really had no idea what. One day on Facebook, I saw an advert for Women’s Wellbeing and looked into it. I attended training in Perth and was truly humbled at how the facilitators nurtured all the women at different stages through the weeks I was there.
More about Gaynor
I am Gaynor, A friend shared a post on Facebook and I thought “wow” I would love to be involved in something like this. I have no story as such but I love helping people and chatting. I am a very friendly person and always see the good in people.
I love being part of the community and feel blessed to live where I do and a well kent figure in our area and hope this will help in my role as a facilitator for WWC. I went to a few Perth meetings and as soon as I came to my first meeting I was in awe. The ladies do an excellent job and after a few meetings I really noticed a difference in the ladies attending and it confirmed that I wanted to reach out and help people in the Stirling area.
More about Ruth
My name is Ruth and I am a facilitator for Stirling Women’s Wellbeing Club. My interest in the club came following Andy’s Man Club from the start, a friend of mine works for prison service and AMC was attending a meeting and she suggested I follow them, with my job in the funeral industry I have first-hand knowledge of the impact of loss through bereavement on people and the grief and anger that can follow. I often keep in touch with clients because they want to and because I can listen, comfort, signpost and most of all be non-judgemental and I am neutral to the family.
I am heavily involved in my local community and help run a social cafè to combat isolation, loneliness and have contacts with SSAFA. I look forward to our group growing and helping those in need of support.
