Meetings are led by one of our volunteer facilitators. A set format is followed each week. Everyone can be heard and listened to if they have something they wish to share in response to the questions asked that week.

More about Suzie
Hi. I’m Suzie. I am a facilitator for the Exeter group. I am currently a stay at home mum (I have 4 children) but I do online courses in Mental Health. I joined WWC just before the Exeter one opened as I have had my own battles with depression & anxiety and I wanted to be able to help/support others who were having a hard time. I know people who ended their lives for their own reasons and I felt I had to do what I could to help people who were/are struggling. I have also found the meetings very helpful for when I’ve needed to get something off my chest or get support. I have made great friendships through the meetings, although this may not be for everyone. Mental health problems are so common nowadays, no one should be embarrassed or ashamed about having a mental health problem and this group helps to enable people to feel more open about talking about mental health. You don’t even need to be diagnosed or experiencing a mental health problem to attend WWC, even having a tough time or a falling out with someone-anything that is affecting you negatively is a reason to come along. We are here for you.
